Doug, Thanks for the quick turnaround and again my apologies for an inadvertent email. A few edits in the same EDIT (mandatory change), Edit (suggested change), Comment (just that, no change needed) format. After revising you're cleared to upload at http://tinyurl.com/mqtga5q Congratulations on completing your first OwnerReview! Cheers, Richard ###I also do snowshoeing and year round mountaineering as well. I backpack in Rocky Mountains just below tree-line most of the time. ### Edit: treeline [One word – as you use it in your Field Use section] ### My trips are normally at least a few miles (2 or more km). ### EDIT: Two miles is about three kilometers. Increase the metric to about your average trip length. ###Length: 11.5 in (29.2 cm) Diameter: 3 in (7.6 cm) ### EDIT: Indicate that these are measured dimensions (Length (measured) . . .) ### I have used it on single day and multi day backpacking trips. ### Edit: multi-day (or multiday) ### For overnight use in the winter, I drain the tube empty, then bury the entire bottle with the filter under about 1 foot of snow, I haven't had any issues since I've done it that way. While I'm using it in the day in cold conditions. ### EDIT: The third "sentence" is a fragment – no subject or verb. How about changing the comma after "snow" to a period and then "I haven't had any issues since I've done it that way while I'm using it in the day in cold conditions. " ### The cap has a large plastic loop molded on it that allows the bottle to be fastened in many ways or even carrying it alongside by hanging it on one of my fingers. ### EDIT: or even carried alongside ### I find that one downside to this bottle is that if water in an area is limited, this filter bottle has limited capacity. I have to plan accordingly depending on where I am hiking. If I know that water sources will be sparse on my trip, I will carry extra water. As far as maintenance goes, there is no back flushing. ### Edit: You address two different subjects in a long paragraph. I'd start a new paragraph with "As far as maintenance goes."
