I realize it’s an odd time for an Owner Review call, right in the middle of a month and all, but I’ve been OOP so I please bear with me. Since I’ve fowled things up I’m going to make a SUPER Month Call for Owner Reviews and bring us into the home stretch of 2015 with a bang. Are you sitting? Are you up for the challenge? Here goes….From now until BGT closes for the Christmas Holiday season any ORs written on items fitting into the following categories will earn a brownie point. A SUPER Browie Point actually. Wow! I know, right? (Fine print: This means nothing extra for gear testing, it just sounds fun!)
Oct. through Dec. ORs on Water Crafts, Water Treatment, Footwear, Stuff Sacks, Base Camp Items, Clothing, and Sleep Gear will be eligible for Brownie Points. So, before the holiday season starts and y’all overdose on meats and sweets, get some ORs in.
All ORs submitted, edited and uploaded will earn a Brownie Point.
Please refer to the http://www.backpackgeartest.org/reviews/ page for sub-categories and ideas of what others have already been reviewing. Obviously, original items not already listed are certainly welcome as long as they fit BGT standards.
More fine print: ORs do not need to comply with the Monthly Call to be posted in any given month. However, those who choose to participate in the Monthly Call will be awarded one Brownie Point per relevant review, which puts you on the fast track to gear you want to test! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity.
