Edit - Asolo Fugitives - Matthew Wilson

Hello Matthew, Bob Dorenfeld is taking a sabbatical from BGT, so I shall pick up the editing of your first Owner Review. There's really only one EDIT requiring a substantive re-write, so I think one more Repost and we'll be ready to get it on the list and you on our roster.

 ### Backpacking Background
 I began hiking and backpacking avidly around 12 years ago, usually taking short trips into secluded wilderness and high alpine areas. I have a preference toward rugged mountain environments where I encounter snowy and icy conditions. ###
 EDIT: This is fine as far as it goes, but more information is needed. Mention your typical pack weight, typical trip length (what is "short?"), typical shelter (tent, tarp, bivy), and other indicia of your hiking style. This helps your reader evaluate your opinions. Keep in mind our 100-word limit.

 Comment: I agree – I have the same narrow ankles and the same problem. Asolo seems to make a narrower boot.

 OBSERVATIONS
 The Fugitive was a gamble for me. ###
 Edit: When referring to use it's better to use the plural for boots, as you usually wear both at the same time. This is also a consistency issue for you, as several times you do use "Fugitives." Check your report and strive for consistency. Sometimes, as is true of the second one here, a change might require a different verb.
  
 ### The break-in period was literally two days after replacing the stock, removable insoles with Superfeet insoles. ###
 EDIT: Replace "Superfeet" with a descriptive adjective such as "aftermarket," "custom," or the like. This is another BGT convention – avoid mentioning brands other than those of the product under review unless that is necessary to explain interworking (as is true of your subsequent reference to crampons).

 Comment: Try placing your boots inside your sleeping bag, in a waterproof stuff sack. They may be wet but they'll be the right size and much easier to put on.
