In the interest of making BackpackGearTest.org the best we can, we are
seeking  your thoughts on how to proceed with our group in the future.
Individual e-mails were sent to active tester e-mails from your original
registrations.  If you didn't get one, it could be your e-mail has changed
or become inactive.  Please let Kathy, off-list at Kathy at backpackgeartest
dot com,  know if a correction is in order.

 

BGT doesn't run itself. A few of us - all volunteers like you - handle the
computer programming, manufacturer recruitment and correspondence, test
calls and selection, and distribution of products that have made BGT a
highly respected name in the outdoor retailer industry. As you know BGT has
no dues or other charges; those who handle the back office pay their own way
to the Outdoor Retailer Show. Kathy and John Waters, who have managed BGT
for the past few years, similarly pay the necessary charges for maintaining
the BackpackGearTest.org website and Yahoo Groups from their own pockets.
It's far more than money; both devote many hours to keeping BGT vibrant.
That is no small contribution from a couple of small business owners with
full-time (and more) day jobs.

 

We want to keep BGT meaningful to the backpacking community, and we can't do
that without your enthusiastic support and participation. Don't worry, we're
not about to ask for a financial contribution. But we do need your active
and enthusiastic participation. To that end, we're asking you to complete
the following survey. We must learn what you think of BGT and what you think
we can do better.
