I like my pack to be as light as possible, only carrying the bare necessities. I mainly hike in flat forests along the Colorado River in temperatures from freezing to 105 degrees.

One of which is a backpack from the company Outdoor Products. I picked this backpack up at my local Wal-mart in the $40 dollar range about a year ago. This backpack has accompanied me on many camping trips. The pros of this backpack are the very comfortable padded straps, flexable elastic chest strap, and plenty of storage for an overnight hike. The only complaint I have envolving this pack is that the large plastic zippers get stuck on the flap that covers the zipper. All in all this backpack is very useful and worth every penny.

Another product I have used in my adventures is a black pair of hiking boots by Underarmer. They are extreamly comfortable and hug my feet and ankles just the right way. They are made with very breathable materials such as that in running shoes. They are remarkably light for how supportive they are. The only downside that I see about the boots is that the shoe laces that come with them tend to get untied quite easily, which I fixed with out a problem by replacing them with paricord.
