November and December Call for Owner Reviews

The November AND December Call for Owner Reviews is for Base Camp Items, Clothing (of any kind), Sleep Gear, and Stuff sacks  
  
 I was reminded by the site of Christmas items appearing in my local stores (yes, already, ack!!) that apparently the holiday season is fast approaching.  As those of us who've been around BGT awhile know, that means an official BGT business shut down but don't let that stop you from spreading some cheer by writing an Owner Review or three or four. Any OR's written on the above items will receive their due credit of one peppermint flavored Brownie Point as long as you get them in before the last ticks of 2016.  As we enter the season of giving, please set aside a little time to give your well written opinion to the hiking community.  And for those who decide the Monthly Call is a bunch of humbug, just know I may or may not be responsible for sending really bad carolers your way!!!
  
 For ideas on what others have written please refer to http://www.backpackgeartest.org/reviews/ page for sub-categories. Obviously, original items not already listed are strongly encouraged as long as they fit BGT standards.  
  
 The fine print: ORs do not need to comply with the Monthly Call to be posted in any given month but only ORs relevant to the call receive Brownie Points.
