All headnets are not created equally. Some will steam your brains inside them if it's warm enough and you are working yourself enough to breath pretty heavily. I have an OR spring ring and like it over my river guides style hat. I have a cheaper sort of boonie hat and net combo a buddy gave me. No comparing the two of them. The cheap one is horrible but it does keep the bugs off for the most part. They still get close enough that the constant zzzzzzzzzzzzz will make you go screaming off into the countryside. The other down side is you can see the netting in some and not in others. It will bother you more than you think, or at least does some folks. Trying to eat under any of them is an entirely different deal. I've never liked it. YMMV.
