Dennis,

Thanks!

Last October I started doing Intermittent Fasting (see my Google Profile
for tons of links, I'd start with Eat-Stop-Eat and Fast-5) and lost 35
pounds in less than 4 months in the easiest diet I ever found and did my
JMT hike at 162 pounds this year. It did help but it did not prevent my
problem.

I still do intermittent fasting (the Fast-5 diet where you only eat (as
much as you want) for a 6 hour period in a day--you're fasting 18 hours a
day in other words)) on work days (I still work). On the JMT though I ate
5-6 times a day throughout the day though.
