PS using the netting works better if the shirt you are wearing has a collar as then you put the bottom edge under the collar adn then put your collar back down.  This helps prevent bugs from getting in at the bottom of the thing. I don't use the kind that ties under your arms, rather mine has a drawstring at the bottom.

I have sometimes slept in the things when I can't seem to kill all the bugs in my tent (the inside roof of my tent can look like a bug massacre - I sit there at night with a flashlight and knit hat and smash them against the roof of the tent).
