can't see how this rain cape could become anything but an emergency bivy 
for people in the fetal position...  Basically, it is a poncho with 
closed sides.  This means it can't double as a tarp.  This shape does, 
however, make it perfect for use on a bike - once I ran elastic through 
the bottom seam:

I combined it with the ULA rain skirt.
