No, I use Google Reader to follow great rss feeds (typically summaries)
from blogs -- but in some cases if the blog has turned on "full rss feeds
setting", then the entire page comes through.  For me to email/share
something interesting from google reading, I click email button from google
reader and I have zero option to trim/cut/extract/edit the item I'm sending
-- I can not even reduce it to all blanks but a link.  I have to
email/forward the entire rss feed content -- I am able to add a header
paragraph adding my comment that is all.
