Try Halfmile maps at: http://www.pctmap.net/download/index.html They are Free and can be used with many apps like Topo. Right now all of his downloadables are for Iphones but they are working on apps for Droid's and I read yesterday they are hoping to have those ready for 2013 hikers. This is what I "plan" on using along with a smartphone for GPS, email, utube videos, mp3, reading material, and phone. Plus Solar charger and a Guide 10. I will also carry printed paper Halfmile maps and manual compass.
