Insect repelling patch gives 48 hours of protection -- allegedly

They have an indiegogo fundraising campaign.

I know nothing about the patch or this company but I am skeptical. They
say that the technology underlying their patches was published in the
journal Nature. Easy enough to believe, but there's a ton of wonderful
scientific discoveries that get published and that could lead to a cure for
cancer, a repellent against insects, or even warp drive. That's a far cry
from having products which will actually cure cancer, repel insects, or
enable us build the starship Enterprise.
At best, unproven technology. I'd need to see some actual results before I
gave them any funding.
