I am also a vet Jerry..(VietNam Vet)...agent orange poisoning
leading to peripheral neuropathy, parachute accident squashed
disk that got worse over years of backpacking, two gunshot
wounds in shoulder now excrutiating pain....sleepless nights
as I do not go for pain meds...(excuse spelling...fingers
numb!!! LOL)...

So...I bought a small RV...can get into amazing places with
solar, small generator, 60 gals water tank, nice bed,
 etc...and day hikes
become very manageable...able to rest well for a day then
do another...esp. East Side of Sierra...hundreds of trails
accessible from an RV base camp at Twin Lakes or similar,

Just my $1.02 (tax included)
