Jon is right, the act of leaving a hit & run is a crime. It appears from the video that the driver will be identified, hopefully real soon, and will face justice. Has anyone heard yet if the two cyclists are alright? We certainly hope so. I also want to let everyone know that Berkeley and Oakland are busy planning the designs for bike lanes on Tunnel Road between Domingo and SR 13, with separation between the bike lane and travel lane. I realize that "space" would not have avoid this crash (no amount of engineering can deal with a driver not paying attention), but it will definitely help. We will keep you posted on this.
