Great news! BART staff have extended the end of the public comment period from May 12 to May 27 for the draft BART bicycle plan that was just released. (See BART bike plan links and info below.) Thanks to BART staff for responding positively and quickly ( within 48 hours) to public concerns about the original two-week public comment period. Appreciatively yours, Jon BART Bicycle Advisory Task Force member (and very pleased with BART's direction in regards to bicycles) On Apr 30, 2012, at 4:33 PM, Jon Spangler wrote: > BART's draft bike plan is available for review at www.bart.gov/bikes. > > Comments and suggestions related to the draft Bike Plan can be made through May 12, 2012, > > and sent to [email protected] > > You can direct questions to: > > Steve Beroldo > Manager of Access Programs > Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) > (510) 464-6158 > Steve Beroldo <[email protected]> > > http://www.bart.gov/guide/bikes/index.aspx > > Begin forwarded message: >> >> The draft plan is here: >> >> http://sfbart.posterous.com/bart-unveils-draft-bike-plan-seeks-comment > > Please make your comments soon--the deadline is just 2 weeks away... > > Thanks, > > Jon > Representing Alameda County on the BART Bicycle Advisory Task Force > > Jon Spangler > Writer/editor > Linda Hudson Writing > TEL 510-864-2144 > CEL 510-846-5356 > [email protected] > www.linkedin.com/in/jonmspangler > www.twitter.com/jonmspangler > > > "She who succeeds in gaining the mastery of the bicycle will gain the mastery of life." > —Frances E.
