Re: [Ebbc-Talk] rear red bike light: blinking or steady?

I don't agree - at least for me when I'm driving, the blinking certainly
draws my attention but is not distracting.  Bike lights are small and
without something like a blinking action will get lost in the "visual
noise" of everything else around it.  I also have my front light on blink
mode.  On a related subject, I do feel that bikes lights, many of them
mounted fairly high, should not be as bright as some sold which tend to be
too bright.  In most urban situations, I use my light to be seen and not to
see things.  Most street lights do a decent job with the enhancement of a
medium brightness bike light reflecting off of broken glass, etc.
