Dear LCIs and fellow cyclists. I have been looking for reasonably-priced but highly-visible gloves--with and without full fingers--for years. (Foggy mornings and evenings here can be chilly.) Years ago I found some great bright-yellow DeWalt work gloves, but someone stole them out of my bike panniers... :-( I recently asked the folks at the Pagano's Hardware store at South Shore Center in Alameda to find me something and they came up with these Hi-Viz work gloves from Custom Leather Craft (#128): with 3 bright colors (orange, neon yellow, and silver reflective) you'll have can't-miss hand signals, even at night. And a way to model visibility when you teach bike skills... http://www.goclc.com/ProductDetail.aspx?sku=128 The Custom Leathercraft sku is 128. Available on the web, see it at Pagano's Hardware at South Shore Center in Alameda, or check with your local hardware store. The fit runs snug on me... http://www.goclc.com/ProductDetail.aspx?sku=128 Jon Spangler Writer/editor Linda Hudson Writing TEL 510-864-2144 CEL 510-846-5356 [email protected] www.linkedin.com/in/jonmspangler www.twitter.com/jonmspangler "She who succeeds in gaining the mastery of the bicycle will gain the mastery of life." —Frances E.
