[Ebbc-Talk] REMINDER: Shoreline/Westline Proposed Bike Lane Project Mtg - This Thurs, June 28 - 7 p.m.

The second community meeting on the Shoreline Drive/Westline Drive Bike paths project in Alameda 
will be this Thursday night at Lum Elementary School at 7:00 PM. (See info below.)

At the first community meeting on May 10, attendees were about evenly split for and against the bike lanes,
with local residents largely opposed. 

Please show up and support the bike lanes project, which will also improve pedestrian safety and transit access
along Westline and Shoreline. The school is at 1801 Sandcreek Way,at Otis Drive.

This bike lane project was first adopted as part of the top 10 projects in the 1999 City of Alameda Bicycle Master Plan,
and finds have been allocated for it. Let's not lose the project because we did not show up!
