Who wants to ride a bicycle, walk, skateboard, rollerblade, or be otherwise
human powered in the second largest and longest Independence Day parade in
the nation? That would be the one in Alameda. BikeAlameda is in it this
year and we're inviting all who want to join in to ride with us. All you
have to do is show up. The staging area is on Lincoln Ave. We will be at
spot 12A, between Oak and Walnut from 8:30am til around 10 when the parade
starts. We will have a limited supply of decorations on site if you want to
decorate your bike or you can do it yourself ahead of time. Latecomers can
feel free to jump in anywhere along the route. More info is on the website.
No need to trip about signing up. BA already took care of that.
