I decorated my Peugeot mixte with a 9-foot street banner from Davis, CA, and rode with BART Director Robert Raburn and BikeAlameda
in Alameda's July 4 Parade today. 

We spent our time in the parade urging folks to "Ride your bike to BART" and telling them about next month's
BART bike pilot project, in which there will be no bike blackouts on the 5 Fridays in August: you'll be able to ride your bike anywhere
on the BART system at any hour and from/to any station.
