[Ebbc-Talk] Premium Rush a GREAT flick...

Fellow bike lovers,

"Premium Rush," the new adventure movie about 
NYC bike messengers, is TERRIFIC. Great timing and editing, 
decent plot, and--most important--LOTS of bikes and bike fun.

The hero rides a steel-framed fixed-gear bike with no brakes, and it is a bike of  
indeterminate "vintage." 

The nonstop bike handling and stunts--all filmed live and not
computer-generated--are wonderful and exciting to watch.

Linda and I went in expecting that there would be plenty of
law-breaking and life-threatening behavior. Our expectations were 
exceeded: I would never recommend Premium Rush as an instructional
bike safety video. (The trailer might make a good bike class intro, though... :-)
