HTTP://WWW.ALAMEDACTC.ORG/APP_PAGES/VIEW/5275 Alameda CTC is updating the 2006 Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plans. The goal of these updates is to reflect current bicycling and walking conditions, needs and priorities in Alameda County. The plans will be used to identify countywide capital project and program priorities, and will guide the allocation of countywide funds. The update process began in May 2010 and final plans are scheduled to be considered for adoption by the Alameda CTC in October 2012. FINAL DRAFT PLANS The Final Draft Plans were released on September 24. All written comments submitted by Monday, October 15 at 12 noon will be provided to the Alameda CTC Board at their October 25 meeting, where adoption of the Plans will be considered. Please use this comment form to submit comments to Rochelle Wheeler, at [email protected] PUBLIC MEETINGS AND TIMELINE The public is welcome to come to any of the public meetings listed below where the Final Draft Plans will be presented and a recommendation on Plans adoption by the Board will be considered. The BPAC meeting on October 4 is the best forum, however, for public comment, since it is in the evening and will have the most time dedicated to discussing the Final Draft Plans.
