San Francisco, birthplace of the global Critical Mass movement. TWENTY YEARS!!! A message for unicyclists: ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Wed, Sep 26, 2012 at 11:22 PM This Friday in San Francisco there will be a huge Critical Mass - the 20th anniversary of what has become a world-wide happening. And it started all in SF back in 1992 with just 48 cyclists. You have to realize that it is a pretty chaotic event, and VERY crowded. Riding a 36 through the beginning parts is tough. We usually wait until the tail end when we can ride better, and then stay toward the end. You can ride as long or as little as you want - you can do an hour or 3 or more. You don't need a 36 at all - the speed is not fast. Bring your camera! Here's a nice article from yesterday on the event http://www.sfbg.com/2012/09/25/critical-mass-20 ---[ _______________________________________________ Ebbc-Talk mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ebbc.org/listinfo.cgi/ebbc-talk-ebbc.org
