I just emailed our Metropolitan Transportation Commissioners asking them to make sure regional planning does everything possible to expand transportation choices, help low-income commuters, help create walkable and affordable communities and contribute to a healthier environment. On July 18th they will be voting on the final version of Plan Bay Area, a 25-year transportation spending plan, that could put us on the right path - but it's missing some key policies that would help us achieve a better future for all Bay Area residents. Help us remind our elected officials to ensure these changes are made before final adoption of the Plan.
