[Ebbc-Talk] Alexander Zuckermann Bicycle-Pedestrian Path chain cutting ceremony and ride photos

I took these photos of the chain cutting ceremony and inaugural ride across the new Bay Bridge on the Alexander Zuckermann Bicycle-Pedestrian Path on 3 September 2013. The ride to the chain cutting ceremony started at Oakland City Hall and was led by Oakland Mayor Jean Quan riding an electric assist Giant bike. Alex Zuckerman's sons Dave and Ron were on the ride as were his grand daughters. It was great to participate in this historic ride and be the first recumbent tricycle rider to ride across the new bridge. As I was leaving the bridge heading back to Oakland, I did see and wave to another recumbent trike rider going the opposite direction. He was riding a yellow Catrike.
