Hello, and thanks for the warm welcome.

My name is Hristo Deshev, and I am a software developer from Bulgaria.

I am lurking on the extremeprogramming group.  I believe it was a
signature or post of Dale's that has lead me to this group.  By that
time I had an interesting conflict with another developer at my previous
job - this has gotten me to think about resistance.

>      2. How do you feel about being here?

The group is really nice.  I still do not feel I have enough knowledge
to add value to the discussions that I read, but probably that will
change in the future.  Anyway almost everything said here so far has
been really helpful and thought provoking.  Here is an example - the
internal resistance thread has changed the way I look at my serious
procrastination problems :)

>      3. What would you like to have happen here?

I feel that I lack the knowledge that other people here have
accumulated.  I will try to find books and articles that I need in order
to participate in the discussions here more effectively.  Please post
more reading suggestions and pointers.  BTW Dale's articles and blog
entries at dhemery.com are really cool.


>      4. What else would you like us to know about you?

I just turned 24.  My lurking on the extremeprogramming,
testdrivendevelopment, and refactoring groups has changed my entire view
of the software development process.  I met serious resistance at my
previous job while trying the first part of ChangeYourOrganization (
http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?ChangeYourOrganization ) refactoring.  Then I
tried the second part :(.  I still try to transform my current job into
a more agile and more fun place to work at, so maybe I will bug you for
some advice in the future.
