Alex,
Without more specific details of the group(s) you are coaching, I would
offer one more general thought.  To the extent that resistance might be
a symptom of feeling unsafe, I would focus more on managing safety and
less on the resistance itself.  I find in groups I work with that when
safety goes up resistance usually goes down.  Safety of course is an
individual experience.
