Trust and Resistance

Hello all,

I've asked hundreds of people about their reasons for doing or 
not doing something that someone else has asked.  (See the Files 
section of this group for some of the reasons.)

Many of the reasons are about the relationship between the person 
being asked and the person making the request.  Of those reasons, 
one of the more common is trust: "I trusted the person who asked" 
or "I didn't trust the person."

In the settings where I've asked about this, I haven't followed 
up on this.  But you're all here, so I'd like to ask you a few 
questions.

What leads you to trust someone?  What leads you not to trust 
someone?

What else would you like to say about trust?  What else would you 
like to ask?
