Were you able to dig more at this point? Flesh out what "No way!" is about?

For myself, "No way!" would be fear of being that honest with the other
person. Afraid of the other person not responding, or using the opportunity
to put me down or be unreasonable with me.

Then again, I seem to be a bit more confident in some cases. I pulled out a
solution to nasty problem at our company with a crashed server mainly
because I quickly got on the stick, ponied up $250 and called Microsoft --
they had the server back alive in an hour.

The boss-man's boss-man caught me in the hall later that day to thank me.
"What made you think to call Microsoft?" I just said, "'cause I didn't know
what I was doing ..." I hope he found that a refreshing bit of honesty ...
:)

I agree, but think it's a shame it's so. It Shouldn't be that way.
