Dale,
You might consider getting a domain name to match. I just checked at Network Solutions and resistance-as-a-resource.com is available.

Subject: [resistance] Request for Help: Group Name Dilemma

I've created a problem for myself, and I'd like your input about
  how to resolve it.

I've decided to focus my consulting business on resistance. The
tag line, or motto, that I want to use for my business is
"Resistance as a Resource." I've used that phrase as the name of
a workshop and as the name of an article. The name captures the
essence of my attitude about resistance. Many people associate
  the name with me.

When I created this Yahoo! Group back in February, I didn't know
I would be focusing my business in this way. So I gave the group
a name that I thought would help attract people who approach
  resistance with curiosity and respect.

Given the wonderful things that have happened in this group in
the two weeks since we've started the dialogue, I want the group
to continue as a community of peers. I want this to be /our/
  group, not Dale's group.

I worry that calling the group by a name that is somewhat
associated with me, and that I want to associate even more
strongly with me, will detract from the spirit of community.

I'm thinking of two possibilities. First, I can change the name
of the group to something that is not so closely identified with
me. Second, I can leave the name as is. For the past few days,
I've been considering a third option of finding a different motto
for my business. I've decided that the third option doesn't fit
  for me right now.

Changing the name of the group would change the e-mail address
and the web address (URL). If we want to do this, I'd like to do
it soon, while the membership is relatively small.

What are your thoughts about this? Would you like me to leave
the name as is? Change it? To what? ("Resistance" is already
taken.) What other possibilities do you see?

  Thank you,
  Dale
