A piece of equipment that gets parked outside has rot through the exhaust manifold of it's 23 hp engine. I was wondering if I could blast it clean, and then do something like shape a nickle or something to overlay the hole and brase it in place. I would probably pre/post heat on a gas grill with a target of 300 to 500F. Any thoughts? Oh, the engine is on a Ford 1510 tractor, which is a 3 cyl NA diesel. It is "young" with about 2200 hours on it. Starts OK, runs OK, smokes a little under load, and has the original injectors. If there is an alternative fixing methodology, I am open to it. _______________________________________________ Vwdiesel mailing list [email protected] http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/vwdiesel
