Owner of a 1981 light blue vw diesel pickup is in big, big trouble. I reviewed the status of his wiring loom and reached the conclusion that replacement harness is best approach. So I am helping him search for the fuse block harness and the engine compartment harness that has the Black ten (10) position connector. user has melted the black connector pieces and then used epoxy to keep replacement wires in the fuse block and the black connector. Need to replace those two harnesses. I checked the work of the previous "fixer" and there are about 5-6 wires totally missing.
