Hi Val ----- Original Message ----- The AHU has the fly by wire throttle. Sounds like your Switch or switch wiring has an intermittent connection somewhere, but all the speed control is done in the ECM and injection pump internally. The Bentley should have a diagram you may be able to use to ohm the switch assy out. Best of luck. Doug 1. That is the normal modality. The second modality, which it is in right now is not coming on at all. The conclusion I have come to is that the problem is electrical. Compressed air, contact cleaner and four letter incantations have not worked. > > ------=_Part_108804_1765138678.1427004787869 > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > > Generally when cruise keeps falling off, it's a vacuum leak. Try holding the button on and see if the throttle catches up until you let go, unless it's a bad leak that should work, but it'll quickly drop off (like, as soon as you let go of the button). > Loren > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Val Christian <[email protected]> > To: vwdiesel <[email protected]> > Sent: Sat, Mar 21, 2015 2:58 pm > Subject: [Vwdiesel] Cruise Switch > > > I have a cruise control switch which kept dropping out cruise.
