seeking experience

rapid fire:my 1.9 non tdi td is leaking oil at the valve cover, standard rubber ok, is there a need for metal reinforcement.
seeking an intercooler temp exchanger
adding gauges:oil press, coolant, alt from an 86 cabri, looks fairly straight forward though block oil sensor may be an issue
i have a turbo gauge, though think i should add an egt gauge any experience with summit parts.
90 passat wagon, 1.9 td, 
i do have a 93 wagon body that i will offer up later this summer,any interest here, i am in chicago.
