I am wondering if I am wasting my time.when I got this bug 10 years ago, it had no seats.I got what I could over the years, finding out that 70 seat tracks were like 1.5 years only.the back seats, I got some from a guy 8 years ago, top and bottom, $20 I now see they are from an early super beetle because I used to work on a 72 super that belonged to a gal in town and I remember what a PITA is was to get the back seat in with that stupid hook on the bottom seat.my bug does not have the receiver on the body for the hook, so I will cut it off.does anyone else know why I should not speed the time to re-build and cover the seats and use them.I put the back upper seat in the car to be sure it bolted in ok first, before doing anything to it, seemed to be fine. ??
