in honor of the world cup
i am off to try for a golito
specifically the us2ct3li4golito trimunicipal point
where the connecticut towns of goshen & litchfield
meet the city of torrington
according to the usgs
at a monumented point very near a back road

& while this point may seem petty as well as trivial &
the goal too easy
it may be worth recalling that connecticut towns are
marked very sketchily if at all & often only by
dilapidating 18th century rocks
& also that the nominally quaternary level here is in
practice more like the tertiary of other places
which is to say ct towns & cities act like the
counties of most other states when they act at all
