spotted in the morning news
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2006-06/14/content_4695909.htm

the general locality for the mentioned mt tomur on
cnkg
aka pobeda or pobedy 7439m
http://mountains.tos.ru/khan.htm
is only about 20km south of the china kyrgyz kazak
tripoint

but spotting the tripoint is a bit of a puzzle too

here
http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/mapcenter/map.aspx?TextLatitude=42.22487806269736&TextLongitude=80.25160069670957&TextAltitude=10&TextSelectedEntity=130&SearchEnc=false&MapStyle=Comprehensive&MapSize=Large&MapStyleSelectedIndex=0&searchTextMap=hantengri+feng&MapStylesList=Comprehensive&ZoomOnMapClickCheck=on&ResultsListbox=41.4640123189235%3B74.5559953947847%3B4%3B130%3BKyrgyzstan%2C+Asia%3BLarge%3BComprehensive
cnkgkz looks to be situated a couple of km due north
of a 6398m peak in kyrgyzstan named hantengri feng
aka khan tengri or hantengkoli etc etc

but other sources make this peak the highest point of
kazakhstan
at 6995m or higher
for example
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khan_Tangiri_Shyngy

& these maps
http://mapy.mk.cvut.cz/data/Centr._Asia/Topo%20maps_500k/K-44A.jpg
http://mapy.mk.cvut.cz/data/Centr._Asia/Khan%20Tengri/khan%20tengri.jpg
which frankly feel a lot more credible than any of the
above info
place the summit on kgkz & the tripoint a few km east
of the summit
at a lesser 6832m peak of the same range or massif

hence this leopards eye view of hantengri from mt
tomur
http://mountains.tos.ru/kopylov/pict/khan1.jpg
does evidently just barely include a class d look at
the cnkgkz tripoint

as you can see by comparing this pic with the russian
topos
the tripoint summit is the last one on the right
