well i think i can tell the river in this enlargement 
as a light area

because it perfectly matches the river depiction on
the map
all along the several meanders thru the neighborhood

but i also have a question for you
because the map seems to indicate a slight crook in
bypl very near the end of it
just before it strikes the river

so 
did or would you now believe the map regarding this
detail

or do you consider the actual bypl convergent not at
all bent away from the long vista segment

& was there any possible turnpoint marker just there
by which you could tell 
or might recollect 
any such terminal deflection as is indicated
