alphabetically it is necessary to reinsert here into
our grand tour a tripoint whose name has changed to
hrhurs since we first encountered it out of order last
month as the former cshrhu & briefly smoked it as the
temporary hrhurb too
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.culture.discuss.boundary-point/9227
you may recall

but since the hoped for clarification has not caught
up with us in the meantime
it seems to me there is no better alternative than to
stand pat on the position already indicated by the
little red square in the middle of the big danube
river
pictured at the bottom of the above message
since that does appear to be the most likely position
based on serbian & conventional mapping at any rate
as for example
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/europe/croatia_pol01.jpg
&
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/europe/hungary.jpg
&
to observe with some satisfaction nonetheless that the
latter of these maps suggests this tripoint could be a
classmate of ltplru & omsaye in the distinguished
category of tricountry points that are also secondary
quadripoints
tho that too could also be just close & no actual
cigar

at the same time this croatian zoomable i just found
http://navigator.vip.hr/webmga/
does indeed place the croatian version of the tripoint
much closer to the borderbase pushpin on the veliki
canal
or at about the position shown on the attached
tripoint stretching diagram
& this hungarian zoomable i also just found
http://lazarus.elte.hu/moterkep/mb.htm
also places the tripoint much closer to the pushpin
albeit at a similar remove in the opposite direction
while these too may very well be no more reliable than
all the other maps & versions we have enjoyed

& otherwise
no news is good news here i guess
