Oh so it is okay to electrocute yourself shaving with bad wiring in the bath just not gum cleaning:-)

I'd use it with a portable basin then.
(Well I'd use an extension cord - but one must suggest somethig legal eh?)

No - but we have plenty of plugholes in bathrooms here - they all have grounds and trip switches built in by code but we can plug in any number of remote control bath toys, hair driers, electric toothbrushes, hair curling tools and whatnot .... whatever the heart desires. But we run on 110V - I think you use 220V and the powers that be are worried their trips don't work?

I would stick with the plug in ones - as there is a pulsing that it does and several power levels, mine has 6  (and they matter - don't get a single power one, start low and work up as the gums heal to your optimal level). I can quite see that if it runs out of oomph, it wll not work worth beans...not worth the frustraton for cordless.
