He wasn't working on my property at the time - he told me if he collapsed while here to call an ambulance (since these ants are everywhere here) with no mention of the pills - but then in an emergency common sense prevailed!! Yes he was surprised but - you know how it is - homeopathy works in such a natural way that people can easily take it for granted!  

Which is possibly why homeopathy doesn't rate higher for the intellectual or the "professional" because they are not accustomed to seeing the body "rise to the occasion" of healing itself with a little "nudge" from a pill!

  I thought it was interesting that I gave my gardener a small vial of Ledum 
  30 pills about 4 years ago which he has kept in his truck through heat and 
  cold and Australian heat in summer is pretty high & he told me last week 
  that he was bitten by a bull ant (to which he is allergic to the point of 
  collapse) - remembered to take a couple of Ledum and had no response to the 
  bite!

  After that long and in those conditions I was quite surprised too!
