Happy New Bhaktum (sp?) Shannon!
Whew we made it so far, huh?  Taking it day by day here in the incredible mountains of Arizona.   I didn't even know this place existed until last fall when we started making plans to leave the Las Vegas area.  We were living there mostly to help our 2nd son (Demian) finally get off on his own and he *is* (finally) and has a great, high paying job with benefits to go! He really turned his life around while we were in Vegas (Boulder City, actually) and we gave our lives to him while he was working to "find" himself - and he did!

Tony and I decided we did not like the intense heat of the Nevada summers (plus the water shortage is terrible and I do not want to be a part of that problem).  They do not need more people there, Lake Mead is drying up (which means the Colorado River is too), but they keep building and building in the Vegas area - so it was time to move!

We decided to move East instead of West during this period of intense Earthly upheaval, to a peaceful place high in the mountains (6200' elevation!), a tiny little town called Strawberry with under 1000 residents.  Our cabin is tucked into the Tonto National Forest and it's so peaceful - just what I needed after experiencing two heart attacks while living in the Bay Area.  That area (S.F.) has changed so much, the energy is too much...literally...I couldn't stand it any longer.

Unfortunately my youngest son chose this time to have a child, so I have not been able to be there to support him (physically at least) while his babe is tiny.  I'll be going back for visits as frequently as I can though!  This is our second grandson...the other is in college.

Well, just wanted to bring you up to date a bit before I ask you about this email.  So, about this email...I'm curious, what spurred you to write it and to ask these questions?  Are you asking about  what we as children recall?  Very interesting topic and would love to know your thoughts about your own recollections.

Peace and hugs to you and hoping you and yours are all well and happy.  We're all doing well here on our end, in our own various locations (lol).  It would be nice to hear back from you, so please just take your time, NO rush, okay?  If it's too much to ask to write me, I understand that too...but just a "hi" would be nice.
Hugs and with love, Sati
ps: hope  your winter is warmer than ours! Our water pipes froze last night and we're still waiting to see if we'll have hot water today!  I guess the owner didn't insulate the hot water pipes. eeek

Anyone who wants to share -- when you remember past scenes, do you remember them as if from an observer's viewpoint, e.g. with your own body as part of the picture, or do you remember them through your own eyes? Or some of each?

Thanks!
Shannon
