Wikinews: New State of the Wiki

I've written a new "State of the Wiki" report on the progress of
Wikinews:

Meanwhile, freelance writer Matthew Yeomans has also written a detailed
article about the project. He travelled Europe and the US to get direct
interviews with Wikinewsies. His research was funded, but the
publication he worked for killed the story in the last minute. It's now
online on his blog at:
