Some knowledge management gurus might sneer at the idea, but I think it has
enormous potential for many lawyers.

There are much more powerful systems available, but simple, cheap software
that people actually use provides more benefit than more expensive and
complex systems that no one uses.

Personal knowledge management is one of the key reasons I keep a number of
blogs.  I find that the search engine and category feature frequently make
it easier to find things on my blogs than to find them in other storage
systems on my hard disk.  The ability to access my data from anyplace with
web access is another plus.
