New Hard Drive

I just purchased a portable harddrive.  I intend to keep all of my 
client related material.

Is there a command in Windows XP-Professional or a piece of 
software that I can purchase  whereby I can say:  Put all new files 
created since X date in my Y Directory on my C drive into the Y 
directory on my portable drive, and make sure that the files go into 
the same folders, etc.  (The Y directories in both drives are intended 
to be "mirrors" of one another.)
