New Office

A colleague of mine has been charged by his firm with the task of 
doing the strategic planning for telecom and IT in conjunction with 
the firm's proposed office move in about 18 months.  The firm has 
about 35 lawyers.

He wants to know about available resources to begin to get his 
arms around the problem.  Perhaps, more broadly, this group could 
suggest specific changes  that he might make in conjunction with 
the move.  I note that, technologically, the firm is currently fairly 
traditional. 

I have suggested going to a paperless office and, probably, going to 
VOIP (the firm will have to purchase a new phone system in any 
event).
