Have you seen the search interface for the newest version of Acrobat. I think it's better than the previous versions. (This is based on my recollection of a demo I saw earlier this year.) I used version 4 to create a similar searchable index of 100+ newsletters a few years back. I agree that the interface was in-elegant, but it got the job done. At that time I didn't see another cost-effective search on CD solution. The best I saw at that time was dtsearch which is cost prohibitive for small-run CD projects. Has anyone done a similar indexing/search project with Acrobat 7? --- "A.J.
