Subject: [NEWSROOM-L] Journalists - This Concerns all of you, today

This case concerns a veteran British journalist jailed in Seattle,
Washington State, for publishing exposé on an EU web site. Seattle judges
provoked a worldwide outrage which raised significant questions about
rights to free speech and misuse of antiharassment orders for prior restraint.

The outcome affects all journalists. If the Supreme Court does not reverse
the lower court findings then each and every one of you can suffer the same
denial of constitutional rights under the First Amendment through misuse of
state antiharassment laws.
