AV and telephony

 
Fellow group members, I have been tasked now for several months with
researching telephony upgrades, smart phone/pocket PC options and now AV
needs for our firm as we relocate across town over the next several
months (expected move date 11/06).  We've narrowed it down to a couple
phone system options:  Altigen and Shoretel and Verizon as our carrier
(narrowed to a few smart phone options:  Audiovox XV6700, Treo 700W,
Samsung SCH-i830, and the forthcoming "MotoQ" or "Q" phone from
Motorola).

Query:  anyone have any insight for me on the mobile phones, the Voip
phone systems, or what we should be doing as far as outfitting our
conference rooms with AV technology now and forward-looking wiring for
future needs?  Come one, come all!
